 Established in 1989, Flatbed Press has been the foremost collaborative printmaking studio in Texas. Founded by Katherine Brimberry, she serves as the collaborating Master Printer and director. Working in the same manner as Crown Point, Tamarind, and ULAE presses, Flatbed has worked with over three hundred artists to create monoprints and editioned etchings, lithographs, and woodcuts. Artists include legendary Texas artists such as John Alexander, Melissa Miller, Liz Ward, James Surls, Dan Rizzie, Linda Ridgway, and Terry Allen and many other established and emerging artists such as Jules Buck Jones, Ben Muñoz, Lance Letscher, Ann Conner, Margaret Garrett and more.
