 Dorothy and Mat Garland have been collecting art seriously and have been a fixture in the Dallas art community for over 25 years. Although Dorothy would say that their taste is eclectic, they focused primarily on Early Texas Art. Although Mat is no longer with us, Dorothy, even while living in a retirement home, still adds a work to their collection now and then.
